Hometown Hero Banners
Applications are available at the Geneva American Legion, Winnek Post 396. Must have proof of Service. (DD214 discharge or prior to 1950 standard discharge papers or service entry paperwork) All Veterans with an Honorable or General discharge are eligible. If you have a dishonorable discharge you are not eligible. Banners will be on display downtown Geneva, approximately May- November.
We will not have a map or listing of where any individual banner will be located.
These banners are paid for by friends, family of the veteran.
Applications for banners for 2027 will be available APPROXIMATELY December 2026 at the American Legion In Geneva.
